Our Motivations for Worship and for Obedience Matter to God.

What are you motivated to worship God by? What are you motivated to obey God by? The Word of God calls us to worship God and obey Him as we, by faith, follow Jesus Christ, and keep in step with His Spirit. We might think "Well, as long as I worship and I obey, then who cares why I do it?" but we see in the Word of God that our motivations in these two areas matter. They matter to God and because of this, they should matter to us. We need to understand biblically what our proper motivations towards worship and towards obedience should be.
