Yes, this is a longer video, but guys, understanding this is crucial to our salvation because it is at the root of our understanding as to what we are saved into through Jesus Christ, and because it reveals our hearts towards why we follow Jesus. It's important because in our North American Christian culture, a false gospel is being preached and understood that twists what freedom in Jesus Christ really means.

I pray this sermon is a challenge and a blessing

We first look at what it doesn't look like to have a heart after God's own heart, and see some key truths about where our hearts need to be.

Guys, do we understand what keeping in step with the Holy Spirit means? When we begin to understand that the gospel message is not only about Jesus forgiving our sins but also that HE has a plan and a purpose for our lives, we begin to desire a life filled with seeking and walking in God's will and not our own day by day. Yet many Christians have been happy to ignore so much of the gospel message and accept only the parts that allow them to believe that they are going to heav

What are your joy levels like these days, Christian? If not, you need to ask yourself: Are you living with a heart that genuinely desires to know and walk in the will of the Lord? This week's Thoughts From The Pastor is about having a heart that desires to walk in God's will and is willing to do it. Is doing it daily. And its connection to having true joy.
