This Thoughts From The Pastor is leadership focused but also good for every Christian to understand and take time to consider prayerfully and search our hearts and consider our values, beliefs and biases. For this reason, I will have this video posted both in the leadership video section and the discipleship post sections. The topics presented are so critical for us to understand and consider, so do give them some thought. I have posted Peterson's and Kirk's conversation (great stuff), which sparked my own thinking on the key topics I felt the Lord was leading me to address, and which I believe the Lord is trying to open our eyes to as His people.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Proverbs 18:14-15 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear? The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

Here is the Peterson and Kirk conversation, worth a watch.
Here are my thoughts on the importance of understanding the conservative Christian ethos, which encompasses the conservative mindset, values, and way of thinking, in today's Conservative context.
